Do you know which is the BEST SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKS for Food Business?

I know these questions is in your mind, as there are many Social Media platform, you can used. BUT we need to FOCUS so that we will have the best viewers to promote our food products.

Are you CONFUSE? Don’t worry, I understand your situations because I had the same feelings the last 4-5 months too. I am totally confused what is for what….

As I am also into Food Business, I am going to share with you, my thoughts on Social Media Networks and which I had done some researched on the suitability to promote to the Food Industry.

I SHARE…

INSTAGRAM

Instagram is very good Social Media platform to promote your Food products. The audience in Instagram is very active and responsive if you are “FOCUS” on your product “NICHE“.

With a Good Profile and Profile Logo, you are able to capture audiences, viewers and followers of your “NICHE”.

A Consistent Feed with suitable “HASHTAGS” will create a Good Instagram and Google RANKING too.

I am just 2 months on Instagram and I glad that I already have 800 followers and it is still growing.

This growth is SOLELY ORGANIC and do not use any automation or BOTS.

As a Foodie, currently I share a lot of my food experienced on Instagram. It is very interesting when you can connect with people from all over the world and share your love on FOOD.

With the Profile that I have on Instagram, I do received some inquiry on the business that I am currently venturing.

It is very important to have a good PROFILE so that you can attract your target audience.

TWITTER

Twitter is a another Social Media Platform that you might consider. As we noticed, the tweets are mainly more on politics or artist or any up to date matters and happening  around the world.

At first, I don’t quite like to view the Twitter as I can see sometimes the talks are either too serious or nonsense stuffs available.

But based on my researched with regards to the Food Industry, we can connect and reached to many Food Industry players from entrepreneurs, multinational company or government sectors with regards to the Food Industry.

Though initially, I found it hard to get connected to the right resources. Once I have done my researched based on your required NICHE, I see flow of information that I want to be up-dated especially on the Food Trend, Food Safety , Travel and Halal sectors.

HASHTAGS is very important to reached your target audience.

The more I tweets about my area of interest, I saw more genuine related minded people like myself start following me and view my tweets. Till to-date, I managed to get 165 Genuine Followers with an average of 50K Impression a month ( means viewer looked at my tweets)

From Twitter, you will get many FIRST HAND INFORMATION related to your industry. This is crucial for your business progress.

PINTEREST

Honestly, at the beginning when I was introduced to the word Pinterest, I don’t even know how to pronounce it. I will say “Pin-Interest”. LoL. Need so many practice to say this word “Pinteres”t.

This is another Social Media platform which is like a SHOPPING place for every one for every things needed. The Pinterest Board itself is a Winner as “PICTURE SPEAKS A THOUSAND WORDS”.

I start to do my researched on what Pinterest can offer based on my NICHE.

As for my Pinterest Profile, I list out the business which I am involved and interest in similar to Instagram and Twitter.

During the beginning, my task was just to look things of my NICHE, Pin and Safe in a Board which I created.

Then after, I have my own product to share, only then I set again an created some new board so that it is solely mine when my viewer want to Pin and Safe.

Till to-date, I managed to get about 23K Monthly Unique Viewer. This is a work for 2 months.

These 3 Social Media Networks that I am currently using actively. I am not on Facebook for business because I noticed its a kind of mixed content in the Facebook which I am not so keen to promote my business.

As for the YouTube, if you have a content which need to have DEMONSTRATION or if you want to be seen in public to promote your product, you may do so.

I have yet to up-date my professional profile on Linkdeln.

I hope with this sharing, you will have some IDEAS about Social Media Network for Food Industry.
