Transfer Mass Planner To A Different Computer or Location

Have you been using Mass Planner on and older computer and now want to transfer it to a newer computer, VPS, VPN, or just back up the files? Well, this is very common with Mass Planner users. After a bit of time users find that Mass Planner uses more system resources than expected or the number of accounts being used with Mass Planner require a more powerful system one of which can be obtained through paying a monthly fee to a VPS or VPN service. The advantage of using a VPS or VPN over a local machine is that with a VPS or VPN you are able to easily access it from any location and check the Mass Planner configurations and settings. Of course you can also connect to a local machine as well, but the configuration will be a bit challenging for the novice computer user. Also if you are a Mass Planner power user, meaning you manage 50 or more accounts, you will easily save on the costs of a machine required to run Mass Planner with massive amount of accounts.

When transferring Mass Planner to a different location you can do so in a variety of ways. You can copy the entire Mass Planner folder including error logs, backup files, etc. However, I suggest you follow the steps that I provide in the below video to see the best way to copy Mass Planner in the simplest, fastest, and most efficient way. Depending on the number of accounts you manage with Mass Planner, the number of campaigns you have configured, and the amount of time you have had Mass Planner installed on your current system will generally determine the amount of time and size of your transfer. Yes the system memory and processor speed will play a part as well. My Mass Planner setup consists of around 17 accounts, around 26 campaigns, and I have had Mass Planner installed on this computer for just about a little over a year. The transfer took about 3hrs using Google Drive. My internet connection wasn’t the best so of course that played a role in the time as well. I’m sure you will experience this with your transfer also depending on your internet connection speed.

Have a look at the below once you have purchased your new computer, VPS, or VPN and are ready to transfer Mass Planner to it.

Once you have Mass Planner transferred to the new computer or location I suggest you close Mass Planner on the old machine before running it on the new computer or location. I highly recommend that you view the video at least 2 times before attempting the transfer. I say this because I do not want you to loose any of your data during the transfer. Of course if you do not delete the content from your old computer you will still have a copy there, but just in case be sure to view the video a few times so that you can watch and listen to exactly what I’m doing to complete this transfer.

Good luck!!!!
