Twitter Account Building Strategy

MPTipsHowToGrowTwitterAcct

Building a following of targeted Twitter followers that are interested in the content that you share is a task that can be a difficult one, but only if you make it so. When I first started building my Twitter following there were a lot of steps that I overlooked. Those overlooked steps prevented my account from being visible to those Twitter users that shared interested in the content that I was providing. In the beginning I used the hashtag method to try and alert users that had interest in my content and while it would work I still didn’t reach nearly as many users as I could have. Also because I was using Mass Planner to automate searches for users with certain hashtags and keywords in their profile descriptions or posts I wasn’t able to accurately identify accounts that were fakes or accounts that were just using common hashtags to bring exposure to their accounts.

Follow The Steps Below To Create A Twitter Following that will be both organic and which will engage with your published content.

– Create Twitter Account name related to targeted audience you will be sharing content with. Example… If you will be sharing content about your iPhone repair business create a user name such as iphone_repairguy or use your name and add in your bio that you do iPhone repairs.

– Upload A Profile Image. You should upload a face shot, a logo, or your company if you are branding yourself as such. From my experience promoting yourself rather than a brand or company allows you to connect on a more personal level with your followers. It is also good when starting new Twitter accounts to promote yourself especially if you are not sure of the best audience for sharing content with. If your Twitter account will be to target those which are seeking iPhone repairs then it is a good idea to have an image of you doing iPhone repairs. When others see your profile image of you repairing an iPhone this will let them know that should they require iPhone repairs or iPhone repair knowledge then following you would be a great thing to do. Had you decided to use just an image of an iPhone it would not be as descriptive or inspiring to others that require iPhone repair or iPhone repair knowledge.

– Complete Your Bio with details about your skills, offer, interests… Do not be too pitchy, but be straight forward about what you are interested in or will be sharing. This will allow those that view your account to know who and what they will be connecting with. So back to the iPhone repair shop. “We provide iPhone repairs which include screen repairs, part replacement, upgrades, etc.” Something like that would allow those looking to replace their cracked iPhone screen to find you via a keyword search of either iPhone, iPhone repair, iPhone part replacement, iPhone upgrades, and a few other search combinations.

– Signup For Truetwit Verification. This is not required, but once again I’m using experience here. By signing up for a Truetwit account and adding this feature to your Twitter account you will be able to filter out bots and those that are not active on Twitter or some that are just not interested enough in what you are representing to verify following you. To see how to signup for a Truetwit account and enable the service on your Twitter account follow along with this video…

– Tweet A Minimal 5 To 10 Times Weekly when starting out. Twitter has a limit of 140 characters at the moment when posting on a timeline. Provide a brief post with a mixture of hashtags and link if available(links will generate image posts in most cases). If no links are available it is optional to include an image. A proper image with minimal text (a catch phrase) works well on Twitter. As you begin to post Twitter will send you alerts when your posted content is liked, commented on, and retweeted. Take advantage of these reports. Content which receives more engagement create more or less of it depending on the type engagement received.

– Put Your Twitter Account Building On AutoPilot In Under 15 Minutes Following The Steps Provided In This Three Part Video Series…

  • Follow along with the settings provided in the below video to begin building a targeted audience of Twitter followers that you can share your content with.

  • Configure the follow sources that you will use to target users which will engage with your shared content.

  • To balance out the number of users you follow and that follow your accounts configure Mass Planner with the below UnFollow settings.

Currently I am maintaining multiple Twitter accounts with Mass Planner and the configurations shared. My accounts grow and receive engagement daily. I am not using commenting or favorting with this strategy, but that maybe included at a later period after proper testing and results are received.

Twitter account growth can vary depending on the audience which you will be following, content being shared, or frequency of content being shared along with frequency of following or unfollowing Twitter users. To prevent your account(s) from being flagged, banned, or suspended make adjustments to the configurations provided in the videos at your own risk. I have been using these settings for months and the times that actions are submitted by Mass Planner have been calculated to stay well below the limits and restrictions which Twitter allows these operations to be performed. Should there be a need to modify the configurations used I will update the videos on this page so that the strategy continues to work as outlined.

Many think that Twitter is a dead network, but that’s not my feeling… If you understand the ways that others use Twitter you will begin to understand what you can share or look for on Twitter to receive accurate results. Think of Twitter as a news reader… If you know what that is. If you don’t then it is a method of collecting a bunch of articles of interest and displaying mainly the text or catch line of the content which one is seeking. Well, Twitter works a lot in the same way. You get 140 characters along with an image or video preview of content of interest. The difference with Twitter as opposed to a news reader is that interaction is suggested through commenting and liking or giving a favorite on the shared content. This then allows others that have interest in the content to then add interaction in the form of a comment or by liking or giving a favorite on the shared content. So this makes for an interesting question… If Twitter’s platform is soo simple to use that you can find tons of content which you like and others like by following others and then reading your newsfeed of brief message alerts about content that one is interested in then why isn’t Twitter more popular? hehehe Well, my thought is… Users want to be seen with some things while anonymous with others… Because interacting on Twitter content is like confirmation. Confirmation that you are interested in that shared content because you interacted with it and then with that content being available instantly as a retweet (bumping or alerting others that have interacted on the shared content) where others that view that shared content will have access to your interaction. Have you ever been told “Think before you hit send”? Well, Twitter takes on this concept. Because content is much easier to be shared with others along with all of the attached engagement instantly once it’s posted on a Twitter timeline.

Take the time to manually post tweets on your Twitter timeline and get to know what others are tweeting as well. This will allow you to see which tweets are receiving the most interaction. With this knowledge even if you do not have the funds or skills you can do your best at reproducing content that is similar to what others are sharing and receiving the most engagement on.

Once you have a general idea of the type content your Twitter account will be sharing with others you can then configure Mass Planner to share your content with your Twitter followers on a scheduled basis. Mass Planner will also allow you to send a mention tweet to users that have followed you or wait until later and send a direct message to each of your Twitter followers individually to introduce yourself. If you have ever received a message from a Twitter user and at the end it said “-via @Crowdfire” this message was sent using automation. There are a few other companies that provide the service of automating sending mentions and direct messages to new followers or Twitter users in general. Mass Planner has managed to incorporate this feature for use with Twitter and it works flawless.

The videos contained in this strategy maybe updated from time to time as Mass Planner updates or the strategy provided is modified in anyway.
